With a new summer comes a new theme at Camp Deer Run, and we’re especially excited about our theme for 2022 – Walk in the Truth. To walk in the truth is to know the word of God to be supremely good and true, and to live according to it. Of course, to walk in the truth, we have to know the truth. And the only way to know the truth is to learn it straight from the source: the Bible!
As Proverbs 7:2-3 says, “guard my teachings as the apple of your eye…write them on the tablet of your heart.” That’s exactly what we want to do with these six verses – write them permanently in our minds and hearts. Join us in preparing for this summer by learning these memory verses that will help us Walk in the Truth.
Philippians 4:8

1 John 1:5-7
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Psalm 86:11
Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
John 3:21
But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
Psalm 25:4-6
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
