4:12 Retreat
All campers between the ages of 9 and 13 are welcome to join us on the weekend of October 6 - 8 for a fun-filled weekend of worship at Camp Deer Run. It's a perfect time for campers to take a step back from school and stress and reconnect with their friends and counselors out in the woods!
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young.”
1 Timothy 4:12
The 4:12 retreat is a full weekend of Camp that is all about our younger campers. Many of our Summer Staff will be returning for the retreat to continue their roles as counselors, and we have prepared a full schedule of camping activities for the retreat. Group Bible, Canteen, Quiet Time, Hymn Time and Ball Games will all be a part of the experience. We hope to have a full camp for this retreat so remind all your camp friends to attend! In years past we’ve had over 160 campers in attendance.
The retreat will begin Friday night at 8:00 p.m. Campers may arrive between 6:30 -8:00 p.m. that evening. Activities will last throughout Saturday and will conclude Sunday morning with a worship service. Parents are welcome to attend the service which will begin around 10:00 a.m. that morning. Pick Up time will be between 11:00 – 12:30 on Sunday. The retreat will cost $80 per camper. This covers meals, canteen, activities and a T-shirt! We look forward to a fun and spiritually uplifting weekend at CDR! Register Soon!
