Camperships
Camp Deer Run plays a vital role in the spiritual growth of our campers. It is our hope that we will be able to offer the Deer Run experience to as many kids as possible, never turning anyone away for financial reasons. We have established this campership program as a way to ensure that any family who wants to send their child to camp will be able to, regardless of their financial situation. There are no requirements to apply. If you have a need, we want to help.

Additional Details
How do I apply for a campership?
The campership application can be found within the parent registration dashboard. To access the parent registration site, please log into your account or create a new account at https://campdeerrun.campmanagement.com/p/campers/login_m.php. From the parent dashboard, select the “forms” option on the left side of the screen, then select “Campership Form.” The campership form can be filled out prior to registration in order to save time during the actual registration process.
Is my family eligible for a campership?
Yes! If the financial aspect of camp would make it difficult to send your child to Camp, we want to partner with you to help make it possible. There is no income level requirement to apply.
How much of the cost will I be responsible for?
We want to partner with you to make sure your kids can come to camp. For that reason, we ask you to pay what you reasonably can. At a minimum, we ask that you pay the initial $100 deposit for your camper’s session.
What if I cannot pay the $100 deposit?
As mentioned before, we never want finances to keep anyone from coming to camp. We want to partner with you in this process. If you are unable to pay the initial $100 deposit please contact us about your situation. At that time we can discuss a reasonable amount for you to pay toward your camper’s fees.
If you cannot pay the initial $100 deposit, you will not be able to complete registration without contacting us first. Please contact the office PRIOR TO REGISTRATION so that we can make arrangements before registration begins.
When are campership applications due?
All campership applications are due by February 20, 2023.
When will I know if I received a campership?
We will respond to your campership request by March 13, 2023.
What if my campership is not enough?
If the amount of your campership isn’t enough to make it possible for your camper to attend Camp this summer, please contact us. As we have mentioned already, we never want finances to stand in the way of anyone coming to camp. If the campership offered does not meet your needs, we would be happy to review your information and provide further assistance if at all possible.
Are camperships available for all sessions?
Camperships are available for all overnight summer sessions (One Week and Two Week Sessions). For inquiries about camperships for PeeWees, please contact us.
Can I qualify for a Campership if my camper is on the waitlist?
When a session is full, any new registrations will be placed on the waitlist. We will not be able to place anyone in a full session unless they are coming off of the waitlist. Camperships will only be awarded to waitlisted campers if/when space becomes available in their desired session. A camper’s place on the waitlist will never be affected by whether or not they have applied for a campership.
Does applying for a campership affect my camper's place on a waitlist?
Absolutely not. Campers are placed on the waitlist on a first-come-first-served basis. A camper’s place on the waitlist will never be affected by whether or not they have applied for a campership.
How many camperships can I apply for?
We limit camperships to one session per camper per year. We cannot provide camperships to a camper for multiple sessions in the same summer. You may apply for camperships for each of your children. If you are applying for multiple children, you need to complete the campership form for each camper.
Do I need to fill out a campership form for each one of my campers?
Yes, you need to fill out the campership form for every camper that you are seeking financial assistance for.
Where does the campership money come from?
Camperships are provided through donations by individuals and churches. If you would like to help provide the Deer Run experience for future campers by contributing to the campership fund, you may do so by clicking the donate button below.
