What to Bring

CLOTHES

• T-shirts and other cool but modest shirts

• Shorts are allowed if they are modest and approaching the knee

• Long pants, jeans, etc. for Cookouts (mandatory for horse-back riding)

• Old tennis shoes or boots – several pairs

• Open-toed shoes/Sandals are allowed only to the pool or bathhouses

• Crocs and other similar slip-ons are acceptable for some of the camping activities that occur on a daily basis  *Crocs will not be permitted for Ball Games, Group Activity, Cabin Activity, Horse Riding, Etc.

• Light jacket or sweater

• Rain gear

• Swimsuit (one-piece suits are appreciated)

• Optional – Dress up materials for theme days (visit web pages titled “Theme Days” for more info) 

Staff decisions on the appropriateness of attire should be cheerfully honored.

***During a two-week session we will wash 10 articles of clothing on Saturday for $2.00 (this fee comes from the campers Canteen money)

OTHER STUFF

• Bible, Notebook, Pen or Pencils

• Bedding: sleeping bag or single bed sheets and blanket

• Pillow and pillow case

• Fan (Box fan, small clip fan, etc)• Towels and washcloths

• Toiletries

• A good flashlight and batteries

• Mosquito repellent

• Sunscreen

• A glove for softball

• Any necessary medications (in prescription bottle w/label) Give to Camp Nurse on Registration Sunday

DO NOT BRING

• Radios, tape or CD players, TVs or cell phones

• Ipods, Gameboys, other types of hand held electronics

• Candy or food items (can invite ants into your cabin)

• Knives, firearms, fireworks or water balloons

• Pets

• Alcohol or illegal substances

• Valuables CDR is not responsible for lost items.

LOST AND FOUND

Items left at Camp will be kept for 3 weeks after your session. After that time, all unclaimed items will be donated to charity. To inquire about items left at camp please email the camp office.
