The new pool has replaced the original which had served the camp since 1961. This project has had an immediate impact on our camping program as the new pool will double the size of the existing one, providing our campers a better and safer swimming experience. The new pool will be built in honor of David Ward, Camp Director 1995-2005. The total cost of the new pool is $225,000.

To have the new pool ready for the 2010 summer the Board of Directors decided to obtain a loan for the remaining funds needed to begin construction in January 2010. So far God has blessed us with $201,175 towards this project. We only need $23,875 to complete our fundraising for the new pool (updated 9-6-11). In order to stay on track with other plans for the camp it is important that CDR pay off this loan within two years. Accomplishing these plans cannot happen without support from those who know and love the mission of this camp. You can help make this happen!
